Dear Walid, Thank you for your inquiry. Thank you for your email and inquiry. As an international applicant you will want to follow the instructions found online at our website: http://financialaid.duke.edu/undergraduate-applicants/apply-aid please follow the series of questions to take you to the step by step page of instructions. As an international applicant you are asked to provide your parent’s 2016 tax returns or earnings statement from your parent’s employer. If your parents file a tax return in their country we would ask for this form. If they do not file a tax return, they can provide an earnings statement from their employer stating their employment and wages for the year. If they are not employed or are self-employed they can fill out a non-filer form documenting that they do not file taxes and can report their yearly income in the box provided on the form. All tax documents and earnings statements ought to be officially translated in English and both the original and translated copy should be provided to the office. Please note: as a part of the translation please provide the exchange of currency as well. These documents can be sent to the financial aid office directly. You are welcome to email, fax or send these by regular mail per your convenience. Thank you. I hope this helps.
