Thank you for your interest in Saddleback College. We have received the information from your 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Before the Financial Aid Office can begin a preliminary review of your file, the following documents and/or information is needed:

This information can be viewed on the My Financial Aid web portal. You can also access the forms at http://www.saddleback.edu/fao/forms.html. To complete your file and award your financial aid, we need the documents mentioned above and/or information to evaluate your eligibility. To help us process your file more efficiently, please return ALL completed forms together at once, as soon as possible.

We do not accept these forms via email or fax.� We accept forms by mail, in person or drop box located outside our office. After submitting all documents, please allow 6-8 weeks processing time.

Your file status can be checked online using the MY FINANCIAL AID web portal located at www.saddleback.edu/fao/. Keep checking MY FINANCIAL AID throughout the semester as the documents you are required to submit may change.

 

Please note that the Pell Grant for 2017-18 will be paid in three payments per term. Semester awards will be paid at 40% 30% and 30%. For example a student with a $2888 award will be paid in three payments: $1156, $866 and $866.

You are encouraged to select how you want to receive your financial aid disbursement should you meet all eligibility requirements to be awarded. Not selecting a preference may delay the receipt of your funds. Using one of the two electronic disbursement options outlined below is the most secure and fastest way to receive your financial aid disbursement.

 

You can sign up for electronic disbursements to either:     

�             Your bank account via ACH direct deposit

�             The Saddleback Cash Card, a Money Network� Enabled MasterCard�

 

Choose how you will receive your financial aid funds today:

 

1. Go to enroll.moneynetworkedu.com, click on �Enroll Now�

2. Log in using your student ID number, date of birth and Saddleback College issued email address.

3. Select your disbursement method and sign off on the terms and conditions of your choice. If selecting direct deposit, please be sure to have your checkbook ready.

Please note that if you are interested in receiving a student loan a separate Loan Request Form must be completed. Direct Loan information is posted on our website: saddleback.edu/fao/DirectLoanprogram.html.
