Dear Walid, Thank you for your inquiry. Thanks for your message and interest in Berklee Online! What interest area are you considering? What is your musical background and what are your goals? This information may assist us with suggesting courses that may be best for you. Feel free to sample one of our online lessons to get a feel for the course format at the link below: https://online.berklee.edu/sample-a-lesson All courses are 12 weeks long and we offer 4 terms a year. Students may take up to 4 courses per term. Each week of a 12 week course requires 5-10 hours a week of a time commitment. The course is flexible and mainly self study. You log-in and read through the lesson, watch video clips and listen to sound clips, reply to a weekly discussion topic and work on your weekly homework assignments. All of this can be done at your own time, keeping in mind due dates for assignments. There is a 1 hour live chat each week with the instructor and all students in the course. If a student cannot make it they can watch a video of the live chat later on and privately message the instructor with questions. Instructors are Berklee Faculty or Professionals in the industry. Once a course finishes a student has access for 1 full year after the end of the term. The cost for an individual course is $1479 for a credit course and $1229 for a non credit course. There is also a $75 registration fee per individual course. If you choose to enroll in a certificate program, all classes must be for credit. You pay a one time $175 registration fee per program and you can either pay per term at the $1479 per credit course cost or pay in full to receive a 10% discount. The individual courses or certificate program, if paying in full, must be paid before the term begins in order to be able to start your studies. Federal Financial Aid via the FAFSA is only available for our Degree students. Unfortunately this is not available for our individual course and certificate program students at this time. Feel free to read more about this at the link below: https://online.berklee.edu/degrees/about/degree-tuition-financial-aid You may find our academic calendar for term start dates at the link below: https://online.berklee.edu/about/academic-calendar Please call us at 617-747-2146 Option 1 to discuss how our online education can help you pursue your goals.
