Hi Adam, Before we can access your records you will need to provide us with your UMID# Regards, TJ Hello James! We are so glad to hear of your interest in the University of Arizona! Allow us to provide you with some information that will be useful when applying to the UA. The application for the Fall 2018 semester is open and the deadline to apply and send all required documents will be May 1, 2018. We have a rolling admissions process which means that the sooner you submit a completed application, the sooner you will receive a decision. In order for your application to be reviewed you must submit a completed application, have paid the application fee, and self-reported all your high school courses and grades from 9th-12th grade in the application. You will notice that we do not require official high school transcripts, we instead ask that you self-report so that a quicker decision can be made. Applicants may be admitted to the university without SAT or ACT scores but will not be considered for UA Merit Scholarships or admission to The Honors College, College of Engineering, or College of Nursing. SAT/ACT scores must be sent officially by College Board or the ACT Organization once your application has been submitted. SAT/ACT scores that are submitted any other way are not considered official. There are times where students may be asked to submit test scores for a more comprehensive and complete review of the application for admission. The University of Arizona does not have a minimum GPA requirement in order to apply. We review the student as a whole, not just by the GPA or test score. We suggest you visit the requirements section on our website and read it thoroughly to see what our admissions requirements are. The admissions process takes 2-4 weeks from when all documentation has been received. Remember, all documentation consists of the completed application, application fee, official high school transcripts and/or any official community college or university transcripts, or test scores (if necessary). Your application for admission will act as an application for our "in house" institutional scholarships but, there are literally thousands of scholarships available from private donors which may require additional applications that you can apply to as well. You can find a list of these scholarships on our Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships website. It is also strongly encouraged that students file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so they may increase their chances of receiving more financial aid. Please check with your high school guidance office if you need assistance with completing the form and for details on when to apply for financial aid using FAFSA. If you would like to schedule a campus tour, attend an all-day Arizona Experience event, or sign-up for a class cat, please go to our website. Finally, if you are interested in knowing more about what degrees and majors are offered here at the UA, check out our Degree Search tool!
