Players should expect two practices per week before games start and two games per week once the season starts. The following is a tentative schedule for the season: League Facility-Park Practice Days Game Days 3-4.5 years old Northeast Tuesday Thurs Thursday & Saturday 4.5-5 years old Northeast Tuesday Thurs Thursday & Saturday 6-8 years old Northeast Tuesday Thurs Tuesday & Saturday 9-12 years old Northeast Tuesday Thurs Thursday & Saturday contact@greenwood.in.gov Parents, we always have a hard time finding coaches. A significant knowledge of soccer is not a must. Please help us get the season started right by volunteering to coach. If you or anyone you know would be interested in coaching, call Jeff Madsen at (317) 881-4545. Our officials are young adults and high school students, so please be patient and respectful when dealing with them in game situations. Your fee includes a team jersey and socks. Please be sure you select the correct sizes. The order will be placed as specified. We will be unable to change uniform sizes once the order has been placed. All players must wear shin guards. Soccer cleats are not required. Coaches will receive specific practice and game schedules on April 12. Once they have received this material, they will be contacting the players on their team with necessary information. Your childâs coach should contact you after April 12. Coaches and their children will be placed on the same team, as will siblings. If you request a certain coach, we will try to accommodate but we cannot guarantee. Practice times will be set by the league and the volunteer coaches. Spread the word to family members and friends when your child has a game. Itâs great to have fans cheering from the stands! If you have any questions throughout the season, feel free to contact Jeff Madsen at (317) 881-4545. Have a great season!
